K.A.T.'s
Silk was founded in Anchorage, Alaska in 1983. Kitty Kincaid, an emerging artist, sells her work through the Internet, department stores, museum gift stores, boutiques and florist gift shops in the United States and Australia. The design may be the same however the flow of marbled dye makes each scarf a unique pattern. The beauty of silk is that it is warm when it is cool, and cool when it is warm. All silk designs created by K.A.T.'s are WASHABLE. ZERO DRYCLEANING REQUIRED! Silk is a strong and resiliant. K.A.T.'s silks are created with a mixed medium process, which combines batik, french painting, and marbling.
K.A.T.'s Bio
K.A.T.'s early designs were graphic images of athletic activities superimposed and layered images. As Kitty progressed with her technical abilities she sought a different medium to better reflect her creative energies. She found the dynamic qualities of silk fabric by attending a silk painting course hosted by a New York artist in 1993. Many of K.A.T.'s designs are inspired by Kitty's adventures traveling overseas to unique and exotic locations.

Wholesale Order Catalogue
WHOLESALE Wholesale Buyers click on the link WHOLESALE link to view the minimum order and pricing structure. (Write for password and login access to: kats@silks.tv) All first time buyers placing a minimum order receive a silk scarf hanger or scarf hooks to display the product in their retail store. Minimum order is 12 scarves either double dye or triple dye process. Minimum order is $240.00 Discounts are available for large orders of 2 dozen plus. (See the Wholesale rate card for volume price breaks.) When ordering specify design, color, fabric, and quantity. Call or write for a verified price quote. Payment is made to K.A.T.'s via check, cash, or credit card: VISA / MASTERCARD accepted only.
MASTERCARD, VISA, Check, or net-30 with a Purchase Order is accepted. FAX, email or telephone your wholesale order for a verified rate quote. CREDIT CARDS are processed via K.A.T.'s.
Packaging
All scarves will be packaged in plastic cylindrical tubes for shipment or rolled together in a velcro box.
